Both the South and the North Cornhole leagues ended their seasons this week. Both in dramatic fashion to set up juicy playoff matchups next week.
In the North, it was another game of perfection from Bean and partner, Kenneth Y. They swept the competition on the day and then again in the showdowns. Bean has earned himself a top 3 finish heading into the playoffs. Second place was a heated battle for the spot, but Payton A. and Dusty Dom also swept the competition on the day until losing in the showdown but still earning enough points to earn top point honors at the end of the regular season. The third place winners for the day belonged to Ray B and Not So Magic Mike. The pair was the top PF and PA on the week helping them climb the North Leaderboard heading into playoff week.
In the South, the participation was lacking due to Zappe fever but for the diehards that showed out, they accumulated their points and escalated to the top. Sap ended the season with a perfect record, 22-0 as he heads into the playoffs as the number one seed in the South. Tyler K had a big weekend as well, also going undefeated and earning him the five seed in his division. Annie P and Matt P racked up another third place victory and locked themselves into the six and seven seeds. The playoffs will be interesting with the top ten loaded with consistent talent up and down
